The Corvette, first produced by Chevrolet in 1953, is now in its sixth
generation of production and is known as a C6 Corvette. The car shown here is a C3.
The C3 model was made from 1968 to 1982.

The Corvette is a high performance sports car with a V8 engine and aero dynamic body design

The fastback glass rear window was introduced in 1978, the 25th "silver" anniversary of the
Corvette. Note the recessed tail lights and silver emblem on the fuel door.
Both front headlights and windshield wipers are recessed. The tachometer and speedometer
are "aircraft styled."
The 1978 Corvette featured an "aircraft styled" center console and gauge cluster.

tune up, carburetor rebuild, brake work, and complete service.
